I have a customer who I am installing a new bathroom for. She has a vented system with a small (140 litre) HWC with an immersion heater and storage heaters for heating.

She wants a power shower so I would have to install a reasonable pump (approx £300).

My question is if she changed her HWC to an unvented cylinder (simple job?) she would have the benefit of a pressurised system with, hopefully, reduced running costs. I have found that a suitable cylinder would be around £500 and would like to ask if someone could give her an idea of how much this would cost to fit.

If there is someone in the area (Guildford) who is qualified to carry out this work I would be happy to pass your contact details to her if she decides to go down this route.
