Do you have an Anton Sprint Pro Yet ?

Here's 4 reasons to buy one from CORGI direct.

1, Best Prices Online
2, Double water stop technology
3, The toughest unit Anton have ever produced
4, Added iOS and android connectivity (previously android only) -

Have they sorted out the issues with the burner pressure readings being really sporadic?
Had one of these units and had me call out cadent for suspected governor issues but ended up being the anton unit doh!

In the end apparently it was a known issue and I'm back on sprint v3 at the moment. But very interested in the pro as found as a fga it was alot better than the old sprints. . And usb c charging using the gas leak detector is incredibly handy as can use a battery bank with it.

We asked our contact at Anton, Damian Cairns, for comment and he contacted their General Manager, Steve Couper, as he wasn't aware of any known issues relating to the pressure measurement functionality of any of their instrument ranges. The response from Steve was "I’m not aware of any known issues with pressure on this or any model. Most warranty returns have gone through me throughout the entire life of eVo & most of V too, the pressure function is something we very rarely see an issue with". Damian added "We would be happy to speak with the engineer and understand his/her concerns. If they had a problem it would have been an isolated case rather than a common problem. In my 10 years dealing with Anton I can only think of 1 solitary situation where a customer had a problem with the pressure functions on their analyser which a re-calibration resolved. The pressure and temperature functions give us virtually no problems at all. They're very stable sensing technologies. We are very confident in the performance of the pressure functions on Pro (and indeed V and eVo before it). If you can get their name and number we'll happily call them on Monday to assist with any further questions or concerns. Thanks."

Hope this helps :)

Hi thanks for the info. Does help.

The calibration date of a new unit I'm guessing is preprogrammed into the device as most are. But my question is does that date start from when it's shipped out or is it when the instrument is first turned on?
Got a friend who's buying all his stuff for working in their own but they are not sure if they would lose months of use due to buying the gear earlier than needed.

Great, looking to make my purchase soon too so will be good to know.

Direct from supplier

All of our instruments (all our Flue Gas Analysers and our new range of pressure meters) are given a 13 month calibration certificate at point of manufacture when they're calibrated. This allows for them to pass through our distribution channels and still provide the end user who has ultimately purchased the instrument with at least 12 months on their initial certificate from time of purchase.

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
