How can I tell if a drain goes to a sewer, soak away, rainwater only or combined?
i don't have a manhole on the property (unless it's buried under the patio) so image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg an't run some water off to test.
I have posted a picture of the drain in question. Before an extension this drain was used for a downpipe and now the downpipe has gone and a shower waste terminates into it. There is water in the bottom of the drain but not sure if it is a trap.
Should every property have its own manhole to inspect the drains?
