Perfect 45 degree mitres, I wonder if I can do that with metal tile trim.

Its strange how nothing is shocking to see anymore, there are some real idiots out there...
 
Not as hard to do as it looks.

Just mark the pipe where you want the bend, get a hammer and cold chisel ( slightly blunt ) give it a firm hit.
The pipe will be creased enough for you to manually pull a bend.

Be careful not to over bend the pipe, you may crack the pipe if you have to unbend the pipe.
Should be good from a few days to a few years - depending on your capabilities.

Just be sure you get paid before leaving the job.
 
Definitely neat but slightly disappointed of the installer ... being lazy and not using pipe clips. He could have also cleaned the pipe a little ...
 
It's like the version of the passover a friend of mine came across. Two pipes at right angles on a collision course. Both hammered flat to 7.5mm thickness. Much more effective than pulling a conventional passover.

That's a brilliant idea.
I can't fathom why I have never thought of doing that.
