hi guys. went to do a gas safety check today. flue is 300mm from double french doors. i know its 300mm from openable window and vent. But is it still the same for a situation like this?

Been out the game for a little while, but I'm sure from memory it's 300mm from the opening in the building not the actual window because it's also pointing toward structural integrity of the building aswell as combustion entering the building, by opening I mean where the brickwork ends and the frame starts not where the frame ends, hope that makes sense because I'm a little confused now !!

When you say you've been out of the game for a while does that mean you're no longer gsr?

Still got my acs but been a courier for the last 6 months, still looking for a gas job, or maybe go
Self employed, not sure yet, why do you ask ?

Because I can mainly.

I was checking you were still gsr because, if you weren't, we would probably have to rescind your access to the private forum. But all's good.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
