Coupd someone tell me how i gas rate these smart meters? Iv had a play about with it but cant figure out how too do it.

cheers.

Thats something I've never came across a smart meter. They are just starting to fit them in my area because the Internet or wifi signal was never good enough till now. Surely there's bound to be a reading on the meter in m3 if gas usage. So just use your metric calculation. Or is there something else with these meters

There is. But often the display requires a sequence of buttons to be pressed at the start and again at finish just to get the correct display to show, thats all in my limited experience of them

press and get a reading, wait 2 mins then press the reading button again for readout, simples there is a tb out there on them as well

Is it a utilita meter? If so you have to go in through the menu using number 9 to select. If I remember rightly it's volume test or something on those lines.

Start your 2min count as you press '9' 4times. Take your reading eg. 1234.123.
After 2 mins press '9' 4 times again and take your 2nd reading. eg 1234.923
Work out your gas rate.
Something along those lines.

The varying procedures are a nonsence. Given the importance and regluarity of the GRT there should be a compusory standard method.
Maybe there will be when the new generation of SM's is rolled out?

Meanwhile, I now use the method i read in Doughnots. Press the A and start thw 2 minutess. Record the reading when ot eventually turns up. At 2 Mins: TYUN OFF ECV. When you eventually get the latest reading, it has to be the correct one. Simples

Press b on your start time press 9 3 times when u see volume test you will have a few numbers before a slash after the slash record the 3 numbers after the slash ignore the 4th number after slash let meter go to sleep press b on the two mins and record the 3 numbers after slash ignore 4th

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
