Sometimes you have to establish a company to sub contract.
Pointless me establishing due to my plans in the future, besides I'm not GS so I'm already at a disadvantage.

Ah, you want to take on subcontract work. Makes more sense. Though I refuse to do it myself now. More hassle with payment than with any direct customers, you can't afford to do anything you haven't quoted on as the end user isn't the one paying your bill, and I always seem to find the cheapskate contractors who don't want to pay to have the job done properly.

Ok, let me say it a different way....
SOMETIMES you HAVE TO.
Can`t really advise you, any company can be closed down easily enough after a short period of time if needs be, see what`s on offer work wise like I say you may not have a choice.Haha fair comment. Out of curiosity, what would you do in my situation?
