I recently installed a Grohe basin mixer tap (Eurodisc Cosmo) which Grohe advertise as suitable for low pressure systems. It only delivers 3.5litre/min at a head of 0.25 bar (2.5m). I've been in touch with Grohe and they confirm that this is the flow rate to be expected from their LP mixer taps. In my opinion this flow rate is not enough for normal use.

I've realised (too late!) that this flow rate is quite a bit lower than most other "low pressure" mixer taps on the market, for example:
Bristan Capri 6.1 l/min @ 0.2 bar
Roper Rhodes Fresh 6.85 l/min @ 0.2 bar
Ideal Standard Ceraplan SL 5.5 l/min @ 0.1 bar

For me, choosing Grohe was an expensive mistake, so I hope by posting this someone else may avoid the same problem!
