Hi,
would be great if I could have some help ASAP with following problem as I'm halfway through the job-

I'm re-fitting a bathroom (1st job) and have drained the hot water system by tying up the ball cock and opening the taps till empty.
I them removed bath, wash basin etc.
When the ball cock was untied and tank full again I tried the tap and a small trickle of water, then nothing!
I'm guessing this is an airlock and I need to attach the cold tap to the hot via a hose to remove the air....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I don;t want to mess this up and need to finish today!

Thanks in advance- Jim

thats assuming you have a mixer tap otherwise join hot and cold washing machine valves together with wm hose turn on hot and then turn on cold for about 20-30 seconds to blast out air in system.

...and that's assuming you have hot and cold washing machine connections!

If you neither of the above work you just need to connect any mains cold point to any hot point. Did you fit flexi hoses on taps to hot and cold? If so undo those and join them together with the bush off a 15mm compression coupler.

i always use one of them old style showers that go on ye taps join both ends togetherand put it on the taps turn hot and cold on for 30 secs then open the nearest hot tap to see how it comes out and away we go there usually a pound or to from the pound shop
