Yep , its the braded hose with two black valves , one is open already, be sure you turn them both off when you are done .

As per Townfanjon, yes that's the filling loop. Should be able to look at White gauge, looks similar in pressure to your boiler.

I think I have the same problem as you and wonder if you can help. we have just moved into a flat with the same boiler and I can't find a filling loop. Pressure has dropped to 0.4 although can't find any leaks. But the missing filling loop is driving me insane. I can't access your photos. I am attaching mine. Can anyone help??

Hi. Do you also have a tank? If so - try there (it’s where I found mine). Else, as someone advised me, you might well find it in a “nearby cupboard”. The clue should be the metal flexible ridged piping with a pressure meter nearby.

Thankyou so much for getting back to me Steve. And so quickly! I found it!! Miles away in a cupboard where there used to be a tank. Phew.
