Servicing the boiler, want to know how to check CO readings, Ratio etc

it it says in the manual you can via a plastic cap somewhere, it's an oldish boiler.

thanks

I'm afraid we have rules about this sort of thing.

Pm gasman with details of your gsr and you will be added to the private gsr forum where all your questions will be answered away from the prying eyes of Joe public

I know how to check it on new boilers(obviously) but not on old ones non condensing

either put it in the flue or there will be a bung somewhere that pulls out usually on the flue collector/hood you realy dont need to fga older boilers unless its in the mi's burner pressure and gas rate is sufficent

Test nipple on top of the boiler. Remove the black push on cap and attach your FGA.

Hi they used to say as a last resort you could discharge the D2 pipework at high level and turn it back to the wall. Similar to a combi boiler. I have just looked back through the regs this seems to have changed and it isn't mentioned now. It now mentions if at high level it should be discharged...

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...
