Hi everyone. We are looking to take on an experienced tradesman to join our existing team of 3. Our company is a small local firm which carries out plumbing & electrical work mainly. At present 90% of our work is bathrooms and kitchens although we also undertake full property renovations using our existing subcontractors where required.

I am looking to get our business Gas Safe Registered and so want to recruit a gas engineer with up to date qualifications who is currently registered with Gas Safe. This will be a post that will grow as we start to take on more gas work. Once our company is registered the work will start to come in. Initially though, experience of installing bathrooms to a very high standard is also required. Electrical experience is also desirable although not essential.

The successful applicant will also be required to train other members of the company up to get them through their ACS exams to allow cover for holidays etc.

The post will be a full time (40 hours per week) position based in Lincoln. We give all of our staff a generous allowance of 6 weeks holiday per year (including bank holidays). As you would expect from an employed position, a fully stocked van with tools will be provided.

Wages will be dependent on experience but will be towards the higher end of the going rate for our area as we want to attract the best, most professional staff.

If you wish to apply for this job please forward a CV to [email protected] in the first instance. If you want more information or want to chat about the job informally, feel free to call me on 07572 613964.

Thanks,

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
