centramag by trappex for us all day long cheaper and better engineered

The magnet is very strong and the valves are high quality - its a nice unit

Its on utube and they have a website centralheatking

I was looking for some bites, but the one I installed on wednesday went in easily and looked ok , less the label, which they are downsizing soon.

new systems im now fitting the mb3, very impressed with the one i fitted 2 weeks ago. Picked up alot of non magnetic bits, very small bits i may add, very long warrantee and made of brass........... whats not to like.

I've only fitted TF1's, cleaned others though, and broke many a magna clean ISO valve too!!

Does the tf1 actually catch non-magnetic debris , NO ,patent examiner rejected their claim .
Tf1 drain valve has a problem ,it passes ,so what do you do buy another canister .
Magnaclean (Magnaleak) need i say any more .
Screwfix filter ,a brillow pad to catch non-magnetic debris !
Trappex centramag all the way £56.99 from the 1st of May on the gas safe website (www.gassafetyshop.co.uk) limited period only

personally i think you should not comment on these threads unless somebody has a question about your filter. Even if we agree with your comments or not i think the integrity of the board comes into doubt when a manufacturer answers a question questioing the quality of most of his competitors.

or is this just me?

please tell me to shut up if so.

i agree with you, but would like to tell you to shut up anyway, so here goes

shut up!!

seriously tho, i think that if anybody wants to advertise on the forum then they should pay, and even then they should not be able to comment on other brands unless its to talk about there own products advantages over another when questioned.

it sort of puts me off a product tbh.

it would be good if all the manufacturers put the effort to look at forums and maybe improve their product on feedback

concentrate on your product then, answer questions on your product when asked. There are plenty of forum members using your filter and have botherd to post good comments about it. You dont find any other manufacturer on here helping, fair comment and its good. but you dont find them on here talking down there competition either.

it would be constructive of manufacturers to comment on the forum , members can ask questions about their products

Exactly.
If i came on here saying all plumbers are shyt apart from me. Im the greatest and i can do it cheaper what kind of response do you think i would get.

This guy is obviously proud of his product and it may outperform competitors but he needs to learn a bit of humility imo

i think we agree, do we agree that its better not to slag off others products unless somebody asks a specific question between the two? and its show a manufacturer in a bad light if they do?

personally I dont shop at gas safe as I dont believe they should be a profit making body! also no one sells centramax down my way so I cant comment on them, but not sure if all the filter bits will work or block, looks to complicated imho, simple is sweet in my books and the no nonsense filter is just that

great stuff, thanks for that.
so your up for sending out some free samples to the members to test them out and get the feed back on your product?.

do you want me to ask dan to contact you for future sponsorship opportunities in return?

i apologise to bob99 if you feel ive took your thread off topic, i did not mean too. If you came on the forum for unbiased advise i also apologise.

every month i give a free trappex centramag filter away on the forum, if you can ask Dan I will advertise on the forum
