I Have an Old Bathroom Tap - How to access to internals to change washer
I changed one some years ago, I have forgotten how it was down.
Please advise.

The whole tap looks like:-

green arrow dome part should unscrew can be tight so might need something to grip it that wont damage it
 
Try wrapping very roughly a few turns of electric insulating tape on the above part so your hand gets a really good grip.
Or a strap wrench (plastic handle with rubber strap type wrench) might grip it

Our kitchen mixer tap has started dripping. Like so much of the plumbing in our almost new build bungalow, it is lacking! The plumber didn't install any isolating cocks in the H&C feed to the tap so how can I identify which of the valves is passing? Shut the whole H&C water system down?
