Hi,
20230221_154733.jpg

We have 28 year old Valiant Combi Boiler in our Bungalow airing cupboard, where the vertical fan flue goes up into roof.

As you can see in photo, we need a firestop plate,
A) for fire safety
B) Hopefully seal around pipe may stop warm air travelling through gap into roof space, and causing condensation, although not sure how hot that pipe gets to be honest

Tried Google search, but wasn't made any wiser I guess I need something which fits to the ceiling which I can put around the pipe in 2 halves.

Please could someone point me in right direction, as to what I need to order and roughly how its fitted.

Thanks

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
