Hi Bod, thanks very much for your reply. I just wondered as some powerflush companies issue certificates and I thought maybe it was compulsory.
Have you heard of the Powerflush Association (Novatus) from Essex. We were thinking of joining as a paid member, not sure where there will be any benefit.

Hi Howsie, have you had any dealings with them, have you heard anything about them ? They say you can join for free or pay to go on their website for leads but it doesn't say how much. I am bit sceptical to say the least.

another leech to take your money for doing FA, gas safe do certificates if you want to give the customer some paperwork other than an invoice

Fernox do a powerflushing pad, if you ring their sales office they usually send them out for free. Has space to write TDS values for each rad etc.

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
