Hi all,

I have Procombi 100 HE, which is a rebadged Volkera compact so Google suggests?

The gas supply was cut to this when my teenager erroneously thought he could smell gas when we out and turned the handle at the meter.

I switched the gas back on and since then the Boiler fan runs and it sounds as normal, but the green LED flashes about once a second and theres no heat/hot water. I have not seen any red LEDs yet. The loss of gas is the only thing that has changed that has stopped it working properly.

The boiler has been reset about 10 times by turning it to off and leaving it for 2 mins. Also tried switching off at the supply and repeating the reset process.

Any ideas would be gratefully received,

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Just tried to run up heating and led now changed to Red!

Call out your gas company first to ensure your installation is safe. Your teenager may have been correct.

You might not be.

It'll cost you nothing and they may even reset the meter and boiler for you.

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt response....I do agree but he mistook the smell of gas for onions! There is a joke there I know, but thats what the original issue was.....I'm laughing as I type, but this whole thing is so frustrating!

Even so. Better safe than sorry. Transco would rather go to a thousand might have beens rather than one fatality!

There will be no gas at boiler depending on how long the pipe run is and will need to be reset quite a few times if pipe run is long, but do as crop says b4 lighting anything to be safe,
