Hi,
I have a 2 zone central heating system. I have a danfoss TP9000 which does the hot water and the downstairs heating. Its connected to a thermostat in the Living room. UpstairsI have a danfoss TP4000 which is powered by batteries. I want to upgrade both to a nest system but Iam unsure if it is possible. I can seefrom the wiring diagrams that the TP9000 can be replaced with the nest heatlinkand the downstairs thermostat can be replaced with the actual nest user interface. No problems. I am not sure how it would work upstairs though as the TP 4000 has only2 wires. I do not know where these wiresgo. Since the nest needs 230V to powerthe heatlink and I presume the 2 wires is for the call to heat would someone be ableto install the nest thermostat upstairs? Where would the2 wires goto? I presume that they wouldnot go back to the TP9000 although I have not bothered to check out the wiring.
