Search limits

When you're looking for previous posts on a topic, it's really unhelpful to wait a minute between searches as you try different keywords. I understand that you don't want the sever overloaded with searches, but would it be possible to, say, limit it to ten searches every ten minutes, rather than one search every minute?

Users would then be able to issue a handful of queries in quick succession but would still mitigate the risk of someone DoS'ing the site.

I agree, it is frustrating when you do not get the search term right and then have to wait before trying again.

I can assure there is a reason for it and I assume it is to stop the website crashing from those people who have nothing better to do than run continuous searches all day until BOOM!
