Hi all. Hooing for some advice on a shallow trap. The waste goes to a gulley.

Either for a small height shower tray or to cut out the screed for a wetroom and backfill with the correct fall to drains.

Thanks

Chop the floor out unless it’s block and beam

You should be fine then as your only going into the concrete 2” ish

What do you do about cutting through the damp proof course though? How wrap bitumen or something around?

How has your 2nd lockdown been Shaun?

If you have to go through it cut it in the centre and push it down to make room for the trap
get some new dp and tap it in

hope it makes sense

I've got an issue with the shower tray not being totally flat. As you can see from the photos, it is about 7mm out at one side. It's leaning towards the waste end though. The shower tray is pushed underneath the tiles. My mate did the tiling and I now realise that we should have put the shower...

Hi all, Hope you’re all doing well. I had a new bathroom installed recently which involved new piping, and also capping off some redundant pipes. Since then, my boiler (pretty new Vaillant combi) turns on when I turn the cold water on. I’ve done some reading and it seems like the problem is...
