Hi All,
your help please. I have installed a brand new bathroom including
a thermostatic mixer shower.
The only thing out of the ordinary, is a faulty hot tap on the existing
kitchen sink. There is a new oil combi boiler in the property.
When the outside tap is used, the Kitchen tap starts running
and now upstairs, when i flush the new toilet, the new shower starts!?
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks

sounds like a wind up!!

is the kitchen tap a mixer?

i would sort that out first and see where you are.

Speaking to another Plumber today and he suggested it could be an airlock or a deadleg?
As it happens., there is a shower room downstairs which is 1st fixed only!
I will run some water through the ballofixs.
I will check tomorrow because i am scratching my head otherwise!
I will let you know....
