ticking noise

debating with architect today about the source of the dreaded ticking noise we can experience on ch installs.
is it A) unclipped pipes
B) pipes too tight in notched joist/ too close to underside of flooring

yep should have used Hessian wrap in the joists

thankyou i knew i was right, i do hate it when someone comes on site trying to impress a customer with their "knowledge"
smart arsed P****. gas man that is the way way i was taught to do it and i've had no complaints of noise, not unless you count the sound of water running down the walls LOL
