So I have an ikea sink set up which has been fine for months. Recently the water hasn't been draining away very quickly and actually, due to having a double sink, will fill both sinks when emptying water into one. I took the waste pipe off to see if I could see an immediate blockage. Nothing. I then tried using unblocker solution but still having problems.

The problem now seems to be something more related to the set up of the pipes themselves. Where the grey bendy pipe sits there is nothing to screw it in place. It's basically loose. The further you insert it it seems to be more secure... But then the water doesn't seem to flow. When I loosen it slightly it gets a slightly better flow but water leaks out of the sides of the pipe where there isn't a tight connection.

When I then lift the pipe out completely I can see water sitting there for a moment. I'm hoping I can attach a photo to this post so it's easier to see what I mean.

Is there anything you guys can suggest to help? Is this a call out job?
