do you get some unusuall requests for installations for fittings and do you charge more or the same.

generally i try to get cash up front now days and tend to do the job whilst the customer is off to work.

my last 'interesting unusual' job was a new instalation with a 8000 quid, all singing, all dancing proffesionall control panel - the panel had given them nothing but problems since day1. I disconnected it and installed a 90quid 2 channel programmable timer !! clients over the moon.

I want to reconnect some outbuildings to an existing water supply. The supply pipe is old 22mm MDPE and buried for a fair distance so not going to dig it up and replace it šŸ˜¬. Question is can I use normal 22mm plumbing push-fit connectors to make the connection as finding 22mm MDPE fittings...
