Hi Just wanted to clear up an issue, I'm G3 qualified and register my installs through gas safe, I have been told that this is now only applicable if the property has gas. I'm oftec registered as well and can add this to my scope but it seems a bit of an nonsense. Can anyone clarify. ?

I’ve never registered one without it being on an install with a gas boiler.
other that that, I just fill in the benchmark and the sticker on the cylinder. Building inspector seems to think that ok too.
I'm all for an easy life.

This seems to confirm, I've no idea how old this is;

If your not already gas safe registered then Gas Safe will not accept a notification because your not on their system
I'm GSR as well, I'm on the system and registered with them for G3 and various other scope.

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...
