Didn't know where to post this but if anyone is installing a "new" ecotec pro/plus then this may help if you are connecting an external room stat/ programmable room stat.

they must have had so many calls, ive rung them twice, about this. the instructions are not clear in the mi's
Actually i found the mi's very poor in parts, what we as installers need is a definative list for comisioning not refer to 3 chapters back then refer to table of codes page 67 or what ever
we need it in easy to follow format with the instructions to carry out the necessary test on the same page

I agree Steve. The Vaillant manuals were not really the best to begin with anyway. I got this after doing their one day ecotec course. Why they didn't include it in the installation paperwork I do not know.

the vaillant instructions are so full of whaffle getting to the info you need is just frustrating

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...
