Hi Folks,

Im looking to install a new system boiler to replace my back boiler. House has been extended beyond the present boilers capacity & its old & inefficient.
I was going to go for a Worcester Greenstar 24i, but having read the forums & reviews, they dont look to be that reliable. Which other make would you recommend for reliability & value.

Thanks, MC

Greenstar 30 CDI , my best recommendation if house is large go for Heat only 40CDI -i offer 5 years warranty on W Bosch

and get solar capable Unventet Hot water Cylinder -for quick recovery (small tip )

pm me if you have not got any one to install it !

Keston boilers don't get heard of much but are very reliable! Aswell as this u don't get stung for an extra 50-70 notes for a flue pipe as the flue is acceptable with the plastic piping provided

About 10 or 12 years ago i thought Kestons were a good idea too. Soon found out the flue pipe is the only decent thing about them and they don't make it.
Pile of rubbish

yes they are fitted hundreds, very good for service contracts as they dont give much trouble i have its clone the performa in my house and my old man has the 80 eco

Yeah we've been back to loads in the past couple of years and not one of them has gave a problem.

What's wrong with the keston? Didn't really know much but my nvq assesor has them all over his workshop and he raves bout em

PCB's, ignition leads, noisy fans, leaking heat exchangers, leaking flue connections, aav leaks onto electronics, in fact after a while the constant leaks have rusted the allen screws so much you have to saw them off to get the case off, terrible cust service, very expensive parts and usually a very long wait to get them........plus they are a part of Ideal.......steer clear unless you like doing unpaid call outs.
