I rate speedfit as about the worst of all and only use it for temporarys, if were talking pushfit then I think polyplumb is the best with hep a close second.

If were talking just plastic in general then Rehau, Uponor and buteline are all superior IMO to the above pushfit variety's.
 
I try to always use copper, but have used Hep on rare occasions, mainly to join to an existing plastic piped job. image.jpg

Here in this photo is a few samples I kept of plastic pipe that failed.
One to the left is non barrier and burst in 2010 winter, despite the talk that it can't burst if froze.
Next 2 are when heating systems overheat. Both barrier pipes and basically melted.
I really don't like plastic
