So landlords hob is connected via hose and bayonet. Told him against regulations and he wants me to change to rigid pipework.

The bayonet goes into an iron fitting and then o to some threaded iron pipe. What fittings are available to connect the copper to the cast iron

Thanks

compression male iron
gas tap/iso
soldered tee to 1/8th

Got to be a diy job. Look at it?

Not against regs to fit hob with hose and bayonet, but there are conditions for this.

Best to read up on regulations.

That is a rubbish installation, I don't think that would pass.

Is there an oven below? If not, a hose is perfectly acceptable unless the mfr says otherwise. HST, the bayonet should face down

All better options, IMO:

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
