Hello

I need to send a boiler on signal wireless for an UFH system.

This seems like the solution to me Mains Switch - RF Switch for Wireless Control of HVAC pumps controlled by Boilers. - https://mainsswitch.co.uk/

Signal sender gets hooked up to the wiring centre which already has a thermostat hooked up to it and the receiver of the signal is hooked up to the boiler to be switched on when receiving the signal.

It's unfortunately too fair and too much hassle to run the cable manually.

Does that sound sane?

Yes that would work depending on distance and wall construction

That’s fine then just if old stone walls could struggle

ah nah not at all. well then this makes my 2 zone now actually work rather than depending on the first zone to fire up the boiler and the 2nd zone to open the valve.

a bit of an update on this.

I noticed the hives have the wireless TRVs that I can install and those can actually demand heat. So if I can install one to every manifold port and all the radiators. would I need this wireless boiler on signal?

or would it be better to go with the initial setup i said, and install those TRVs on the radiators left upstairs.

it came, i hooked up the transmitter to the wiring centres BOILER_ON, that didn't work, so I just hooked up to the Hives HEAT_ON.

Hooked up the upstairs switched Live to the hives HEAT_ON. all worked perfectly. and meant I didn't have to faff with the boilers wiring.

This does have the downside of if i turn on the downstairs it'll also trigger the upstairs, but that's why I'll be adding the wireless TRVs to the rads.

Great bit of kit, would recommend to anyway not wanting to deal with laying that wire.
