Hi
I have an iqe simplicity combi and want to fit the optional digital clock, I purchased an original but have no wiring diagram, I have fitted the wires on to the back of the clock as I would think they go (see photos) I just want to confirm this is correct before I fit the plug into the boiler, many thanks in advance for any help or advice

Not worked on these. So I will say that you need a gas safe Engineer to fit the timer. However someone that has worked on them may know better.

wrong style of clock for your boiler i would say

The part number on the box (iqe box) matches the part number in the manual and it shows the clock ECT in the boiler installation manual it just doesn't show the pin numbers or wire colours for it! Iqe doesn't seem to exist anymore either, seems to be part of sime now

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Hi they used to say as a last resort you could discharge the D2 pipework at high level and turn it back to the wall. Similar to a combi boiler. I have just looked back through the regs this seems to have changed and it isn't mentioned now. It now mentions if at high level it should be discharged...
