Before we start, we are now out of all promotional Ideals, so no more goodies there.

We are out of Ecotec Pro 28s, and the other Vaillants are thinning out rapidly - we will have to take down several more models in the next hour or so.

Intergas Rapids sold out very early, but there are a few Eco RF and HREs left.

WB stocks are also thinning out, but still some to be had.

Glowworm, Baxi, Main and Heatline are all still OK.

For WB enthusiasts, Paul Jepson has his most devilish game planned for tonight - his infamous "deal or no deal".

What Paul will do is put up several offers on the same fast moving WB boiler. They will be at different price points, ranging from plain cheap, down through very cheap, to eye-wateringly cheap.

However, here's the catch. There are only a few boilers in the very cheapest category, so if you chase that, you are competing with hundreds of bargain hunters, so your chances of success are slim.

So you might better to aim for maybe the 2nd or 3rd best deal, because your chances of actually getting it are greater. Or settle for almost certain success, but only get a relatively small saving.

Unless all the other punters think the same thing...Its quite possible that no-one chases the best price, like no one ever asks out the prettiest girl because they dont think they have a chance.

You can turn your brain inside out working out the best strategy!

Not many compared to WB, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Glowworm or Main, but still a decent 4 figure number per year.

I think £395 was the psychological barrier for lots of people Chris. Almost as soon as we posted that price, the last stock went.

Yep - thats the record - lots of sales on our computer screens with an identical time stamp - and just a few seconds separating dozens of orders.
