    I bought a 19mm ID fiber washer but it didn't fit over the thread so I bought a 20mm ID which fits but it's only 1.5mm thick so I don't know if it will work. I've bought some new valves but I'm not fussed on using them because the other radiators in my house with the same valves are leaking.

    There was a hard plastic washer on the flange There was a hard plastic washer on the flange so I tried wrapping ptfe tape around the threads to make a new washer. I also tried wrapping ptfe around the treads. This is the plastic washer.

    I have a old single radiator that's leaking from the bleed valve fitting so I removed it and noticed the plastic sealing washer is worn so I tried using ptfe tape but it was still leaking so can anyone tell me what washer to use. I need a 20mm ID and 27mm OD.
