Yes - they only fit one way. On a previous visit, I had noted that the electrodes passed out side the centring ring. Have now found that removing the blast tube while connecting the rest and then replacing it, I could wriggle it inside the electrodes. All's well. Thanks to all.- G B Wright

My boiler fsiled to fire up. Dismantled the burner, removed the nozzle, ultrasonically cleaned it and reassembled outside the boiler. On start up, the jet looked fine. The igniter sparks satisfactorily. However. I can't reassemble it! There is a ring through which the nozzle passes and is thus...- G B Wright
