    That’s both options for fuelling a boiler… but what else could be used to create the heat? Solar water heating? Air Source Heat Pump? Looking for recommendations for running costs etc. Cable and pipe routes aren’t a problem. Suspended timber floor on ground with ample crawling room underneath.

    I take it I can’t do that when each rad has a TRV? The manifold isn’t far away, as far as I can remember…. But it means lifting the hall carpet and gyproc floor.
