I usually fit Baxi, the platinum/duo tec are tried and tested. Quite big and heavy (like the CDI) but they are solid and well made. There’s also the 600 series which are small and whisper quiet but they’ve are only a couple of years old so can’t talk on their longevity.

Only decent Worcester are the classic CDI’s, the new compacts aren’t very good in my opinion. You will find plenty of people who like Worcester but overall for the price, they aren’t value for money and there are better options out there.

Most of you would hate new builds then. Plastic fittings are perfectly acceptable under floors and that pipe work is fine imo.
Yes copper is more accepted as the better method but they haven’t done anything ‘wrong’ here.
Depends on the model as long a short it’s not a GA I wouldn’t get Baxi out for anything other than a heat exchanger.

Another vote for baxi. Duo/plat are great boilers. Big and heavy but reliable and stood the test of time.
Vogue is a decent boiler but they’ve changed the blocks from brass to plastic which degrades the boiler massively in my opinion.

Doesn’t matter what van you get, it’s a pure lottery. I have a custom which has been perfect and others have broken down out of the forecourt brand new.
