I have a small gas heater with ceramic grids in it which when it gets warmed up the flame back fires into the area behind the grids whith a whistling sound, can anyone tell me what causes this fault ?

Needs repair possibly the ceramic radiants are cracked and allow the flame to light at the injector I would advise you don’t use and either seek repair or get a new one as it’s dangerousI have a small gas heater with ceramic grids in it which when it gets warmed up the flame back fires into the area behind the grids whith a whistling sound, can anyone tell me what causes this fault ?
