Have you checked prices of refills lately. I was surprised to find sievert no cheaper than Roth gas
To be honest, no i haven't checked lately, but even if their the same price at least you're doing your bit for a greener world....!
As for DIY gas refills, good luck.....

I am all for saving dosh but would not muck about with propane gas - i have had
a new faulty one go up on me years ago whilst under a suspended floor not good.

i took it back and it arrived on the back wall of the plumbers merchants counter milliseconds
after i bashed thro their door - seen some nat gas bangs and butane bangs but
propane dont mess with

centralheatking

best firework display ever was the gas depot (calor i think ) near a supermarket (sainsburies?) going up in flames, those dumpy little bottles fly up into the sky to untold heights, the firemen werent happy, occurred quite some years back in Fareham.
