It's connected by opentherm so its not going to dish out high flow temperatures that your used too. Drayton will be able to explain it better if you give them a call/email.
My bet is what ever wastepipe it's bossed into hasn't had a hole cut into it for the water to discharge...that is if the pumps been wired up and the water not just backing up into the burner causing the noise.
Half hour to do a boiler at fire. That's ludacris!!
By time I've taken tools out of van, greeted customer, done a let by and tightness test that's probably about 10+ minutes gone already.
10 'services' a day? Roughly 1.5 hours a service that's without factoring in travel time or problems. Simply you are not servicing a boiler at this point just merely a gas safety check and that's questionable.
Strip serviced a green Star 28i junior this morning. New electrodes etc. All running sound...onto my next jobs.
The dreaded call back, anyway no heating or hot water. Boiler blue light flashing twice and no lockout reset. Noticed that I forgot to connect earth to fan back up...still nothing...
You mean inline scale filter or magnetic filter? Having no magnetic filter doesn't void warranty even tho its good practice to fit one...system needs to be crystal clean mind. Don't have to fit scale filters down this way so not sure.
