Oh yeh sorry doesn't look bad on the installer... Just looks bad on the manufacturer from customer... If I bought a new boiler I'd expect it to be faultless for atleast a few years...not break down on day one.
You can get old record or hilmor benders on eBay at a decent price... Asking as you don't mind abit of missing paint. I've used my mates rothernbergers before and thought the where poor bending 22mm but each to their own.
You will never slot bath into place tho mate...
Say you had 1680mm tile to tile but you cut tile out each side and you have 1700mm you still wouldn't get 1700mm bath in it due to the angle of slotting bath in.
Best bet is bath made to fit or a 1500mm bath with infill
I've had a few range cookers where a ring or two wouldn't stay alight from new. Calling manufacturers out on day one doesn't look good from a customer's point of view.
Yeah and have water Soding through the ceilings from various places due to Rubbish soldering. Seen it before. Always advise a full repipe. Even the hot water pipe too.
Personally I feel replacing a low pressure system to a combi the pipework has already stood the test of time and it is time to fully replace all system pipework! Been to countless installs where there are leaks due to system pressure change.
I was going to say it's fake as he can easily isolate under the boiler... But the read Shaun's comment and course it's back feeding from the hot!! Unlucky!
If it's creeping back upto 3 bar with nothing in use then your engineer should know what the problem part is for that fault. Honestly wouldn't throw any money at that boiler
