    Three things I would check without interfering with the boiler, check the room and HW cylinder thermostat's to make sure they are not on permanently or set too high and see if this cures the problem, if not check to see if the boiler has a "Test" or "Engineer" switch, if its "on" turn it "off"...

    Check the simple things first i.e. the Frost Stat if that has failed on or been turned up to maximum, then the symptoms you describe could happen. You have changed the valve description, please check which you have?
