Yeah defiantly not. Out of the thousands of domestic heating systems I've wired over the years I think I've only come across it twice. You have to use the supplied grundfos printed circuit board wiring centre unless you want to start adding relays etc....Just another point of failure that's not...
I 100% agree... I would go as far to say without an online presence these days you don't look very professional. The 1st thing I do when using someone new is google them even if they have been recommended.

@Dan @Lou @REDSAW @3_fall just to make you aware I have deleted SimonG's signature line which was promoting another plumbing forum (britishplumbersforum) and sent him a pm asking him not to put it up again.
The op has wired the green and yellow in to the terminal marked grey and grey in to the terminal marked green an yellow..This is why it keeps blowing fuses. But as for the OP changing the actuator.....I bet it still doesn't solve the issue of the pump not running.
