    Codes you mention are over heat codes , ask your engineer to get his clamps out. Also , boiler pressure from cold approx 1 bar not 2 bar and don't forget Icos’s were cheap low cost boilers , 10 years isnt bad for one ,however I have around 5 /6 on about 12 ish years old .

    The shock arrester is to protect the boiler not the house plumbing . As above from all the guys ^^^^^^ is your way forward, can be a nightmare to find , its usually a badly clipped pipe in my experience.

    You will never run 2. showers off a combi , you would need to change systems . Potentially expensive, unvented cylinder and heat only boiler .

    Try get hold of an actual copy of G3 and study it . Believe me it will help no end . When I first did mine they said it was for life !!! , it was until someone thought , no we will charge them now and make them do it every 5 years . Tw*ts .

    The valves are on the bottom of the vessels, not a good idea because its where the condensation ends up , theres always some water comes out , but obviously I dont know how much came out . The valve wants removing and all the water drained out and then recharging. There is something else it...
