    Its a bentone sterling 50 burner. When i checked the filter i opened the valve and ran off about 1/2 litre and seemed to be ok. There’s a tiger loop on the system which is showing oil. Its 1 of those jobs where the customer says ‘ it worked ok before you serviced it ‘

    Hey. No will def sort a replacement sensor. Just need to make sure there’s no other issues. With the manifold in the cellar and pipe loops above my 1st thought was air in the loops. Will report back later.

    So only there if the thermostat head on the flow, fails and or if the boiler thermostat fails? Never seen them on a manifold before. Spoke with an electrician who said in the past he hasn’t wired them in. (Not saying he’s right to do that though)

    Hey. That’s for your reply. Must be the sensor faulty then as the thermostatic control on the flow in, was working ok And controlling the temperature. I linked it out last night just to prove there was no other issue. Going back in today to see if the room is up to temperature.

    Switch the black return valve off under the boiler and there’s a nut to undo. On the Combi is where the filling loop connects to usually.

    The duo tec has that gauze filter On the return. Never realised till technical told me. Check them all the time when servicing now. Doesn’t take much to block them.
