Is it just me, I think boiler controls have not evolved in the last few years most seem to recommend tado or hive and seem to have veered away from true weather comp.
have had scaffolding up around the house for work being done in upstairs flat. came out this afternoon and the gutteriing around our bay windown has been smashed off by the scoffolders while they were dismantling. they have hidden it behind one of the trees. it wa sthe original cast guttering...

went to service a viessmann 100 and install weather comp fitted the lead to x21 as per wired the sensor but the boiler was not seeing the sensor, phoned viessmann and went through it, sensor is correct one 5K the resistance was ok, checked all connections and the were fine anyone else had this...
other than the obvious
system s plan changed programmer as the water side had stopped working. but apparently it comes on anytime during off periods.
sometimes for hours sometimes for short periods. frost stay looks like it works ok set at 3 degrees. 2 port does open and bring on the heating...
called this morning had aquick look change electrodes as ionisation probe was quite burnt away, but went off again later calling back anything i should look for thats obvious ( customer has not had it serviced regulatrly so the warranty is void even though it had 6 years)
i fitted a 3rd gen nest about 4 weeks ago all ok then week later custome rhas fault heating wont turn off went through all checks and found heat link was faulty giving 240 permanent to heating got new heatlink now 2 weeks later customer says doing same, am i just unlucky or has anyone else had...
