    Replacing a mechanical timer with a Hive thermostat

    I've fitted a fair few Smart Thermostats over the years without any real problems, so I thought this job would be a cinch- apparently not! I have a Honeywell boiler with a digital control panel and a mechanical timer. There is no thermostat in the property (it's just a small holiday cottage)...
