    Working for the council/local housing assosication.

    I also work for housing assoc (ten years) I love the work, Great hours 35 hr week all the good perks that go with it. The only downside is the time given to jobs they try to cram as much as they can into your day so this can be frustrating But I wouldn’t work anywhere else.

    I use both bahco and monument but spanners don't feel as sturdy and as the wide as the irega wide jaw spanner as it's really handy for in lofts changing ballvalves as is wider than the bahco

    As Paul plumb said you need to isolate but your fill valve may require replacement If you do replace I would recommend a fluidmaster pro 45b with brass shank Good luck

    Tracy if your gonna replace it I would recommend a fluidmaster pro 45b fill valve as there is lot of room in your cistern for one. I change your type all the time sounds like a fog horn on a ship at 3am when you visit the loo waking the whole house up Good luck

    15mm glued Plastic pipe & fittings

    It's actually made by a company no longer around "hunter genova" I work on an estate by me with over 700 houses full of this. I've been using a coupler by john guest and it's worked fine up to now it's a 15mm to 1/2 inch May have to order in as not used very much good luck!
