Vaillant eco plus 837 System loosing pressure.

I have a Vaillant eco plus 837, year installed 2008. It works well. We have one large zone for the house with 13 rads running off it. We also have an UFH zone in the kitchen. Near the boiler I have 2 port valves which control this part of the system. The boiler has been loosing pressure...

    Flow rate on Intergas Boiler

I don't know, i just go by what the data sheet tells me and it seems this intergas boiler at 17KW is not able to heat the water to have a good shower (someone on another forum has reported this issue with this boiler). All views appreciated though.

    Flow rate on Intergas Boiler

Yes i don't go for cheap usually. The intergas boiler is about £700-800, but someone is selling it at £500 on eBay near to me. It all seems legit. But i have a feeling i am going to go with a slightly bigger KW boiler as this sounds to small, even for a small house with 5 rads on the system...

    Flow rate on Intergas Boiler

Hi I am thinking about buying a small intergas boiler. The HRE 24/18. It is a 17kw boiler but the house i rent out is a 2 bed terrace. It has a bathroom with bath and a shower over it run off the boiler. My concern is the low Flow rate on this boiler. Has anyone had any issues with it ...

Snapped off shower head in wall

SUCCESS !!! I went back up and tried a slightly smaller plier. Fit like a glove and didn't need much force. So now i need to buy a new fixed shower head, but i am not going to get one of the long ones we have just had with a big head on it. I think i am going to get an angled one as it will...

Snapped off shower head in wall

No i don't. I have been looking at "easy out screw extractor" vids online. But these tap into a mass of metal. I don't have any metal to tap into. I need to put something inside my hole and expand outwards and then i would turn it to bring it out, but i cant think what to use.

Snapped off shower head in wall

I can check the shed as i think i have one small tap for a basin. If i do have one how will that help ? The metal which is threaded into the elbow joint is smooth on the inside.

Snapped off shower head in wall

Does anyone know how i solve this problem. I broke my shower head the other night while cleaning it. The metal has sheared off at the elbow joint in the wall which connects to the copper water feed from the valve. So i have the elbow joint still in place and secure, but it has the threaded bit...

    New drainage layout plan

My section of drainage is my own and not owned by the water company. On semis's the water company owns all the pipe work where it discharges into the main sewer, so that is my neighbours side. Will speak to the BC guy when back from holiday.

    New drainage layout plan

Yes i do need to speak to him, but he has proved pretty elusive in terms of coming out to view my extension build pre start and drains etc. He is on hols now it seems so i will need to wait until early july. No probs really.

    New drainage layout plan

What is the point of forums like this ?? They are about sharing tips and knowledge. If you say to every poster get someone in to do the job then these sites are worthless. anyone else have anything constructive to say ?

    New drainage layout plan

Hello, first post and i hope this is the right location for my question. I enclose a diagram of my new drains layout which i am doing myself. Because i am doing an extension thought i would also change the drains over to plastic and separate myself from my neighbours system. All water runs...
