    Old Hunter soil pipe socket O-ring woes :(

    Hello Rob, Just a suggestion, do you have any silicone grease? If yes, remove the piece of soil pipe and smear a nice thick layer around the seal and refit. Worth a try? Cheers Jim

    VG valve IMHO, head detaches very easily to enable tightening, cable is plug in so doesn't get in the way, strong spring & 5yr warranty!

    Well thank you and yourselves? What you're considering can be done, however the cutting and excavating would have to be done very carefully/gingerly! If you have screed on top of an PIR insulation board forming a trench for the waste would be fairly easy, whereas if it's a "rock-hard"...

    Your neighbour probably has 2 tanks in their loft, one for central heating and one for hot water.
