Good morning!
I have a problem with my central heating system…..and am wondering if anyone can help.
The system:
1. 15 year old detached house, with a 15 yr old Honeywell Y Plan CH system, which to all extents and purposes works FINE.
2. Boiler is a traditional ‘IDEAL Classic’ boiler...
I have just bought a Honeywell DT90E room thermostat to replace a faulty Heatmiser DS1. I have a Honeywell ST9400c programmer and Honeywell Mid Position Valve. I have read on several forums that the DT90E should be wired LIVE to A, SWITCHED LIVE to B, C is not used and Neutral wire is not used...
I replaced my old bellows type room stat a year or so ago with a Honeywell DT90E. All very good until this morning when it started cycling on and off about once per second. I took batteries out - they are still good - put them back and now all is normal again. Has anyone seen this before?
I could do with advice in exactly what connection terminals to connect to on the 831 PCB, I'm OK regarding live neutral and earth from the programmers relay which is a bdr 91 but it's the switching part of connecting to the PCB I'm unsure of. ie do I connect to the 24volt after removing the link...
Can't seem to get the stat to control the Vaillant pro24. Have I got this right? The boiler just runs on heating and won't switch off. I then removed the 24v link and it had the opposite effect. Wouldn't switch back on. It's a Honeywell DT90e by the way.
I have a Vaillant mechanical 150 time...
Two ST9400's, both fitted about a year ago, both with same problem - randomly will not run program on timer. Work fine in continuous mode. Wonder if they had a dodgy batch?
Good afternoon – I am really stuck with a diagnosis here and hope to get your help.
The system has 2 Honeywell V4043H1056 motorised valves. Their outside levers are both set to “auto”. No problems at all with the Central Heating valve or the programmer (ST6400C). The issue is with the hot water...
I have changed a good few heads recently on valve only 2 & 3 years old has anyone experienced similar issues as they don't seem to be the quality / reliability they once were
Just wondering if anyone had a new one being faulty. Would not come on for heating only hot water. White and grey live but nothing back through the Orange. Checked all connections and ok but wouldn't have it. Fitted another and up it went.
I'm after a helpful engineer..i have moved into a house and have an old looking ideal condenser boiler HE15P and I have a ho****er tank and 3 slider timer Honeywell thing in my airing cupboard,i have my ho****er slid to off and heating on twice,,but I ALWAYS have ho****er,its boiling hot at all...
I need to buy a 3 port motorised valve for my domestic system. Is the extra cost of Honeywell really justified against say a Sangamo valve? ( over twice as much )
Hey all,
i have one of these actuators, its Clicking and failing to turn off the heating, it's stuck always on.
I did try to get someone local to do it but 2 people failed to turn up so far, i guess because its a small job..most seem to want to install bathrooms etc!, or does anyone know...
Anyone got any pros/cons to this not used before but thinking it may just land me a nice little job.
what I've got is a solicitors building over 3 floors. But now two separate companies sharing all building bills . However boiler in basement and thermostat in one office but they like it cool...
I have two Honeywell programmers, an ST9400C 7 Day Two Channel Programmer and a ST9100C 7 Day Single Channel Programmer.
I have just noticed that they are quite hot to the touch in top left hand corner of each programmer.
Is this normal, I assume it could be as it is same on both programmers...
My mother has a Worcester boiler, connected to a Honeywell wireless receiver which is controlled by a Honeywell CM921 thermostatic controller.
Due to limited mobility she'd like to be able to have a second controller (so one upstairs and one downstairs) can I simply get her 2 second wireless...
Hello Im after some help with a honeywell sundial wiring center. The boiler and pump are permanently on. The cylinder stat was wired incorrectly by the home owner with the common and 2 wires the wrong way round. Having corrected that I am getting 170 volts down the common and 1 wire of the...

Should there be continuity on any of these combinations of wires when removed from wiring centre;
Orange & grey

Hi
Does anyone know why a Honeywell ST9100C Programmer is continually flashing. I have looked at the troubleshooter details but it does not give an answer.
Is it time to get another??
Thanks
Paul
Hello!
The aforementioned mid position valve has been replaced on an open vented, Y plan system with 22mm primaries and 8mm feeds to radiators from manifolds (I know). The system is clean and all radiators are new. Heating and DHW are fine, both work as required and provide required heat...
